Eventually the name of the black Shiba has been decided!
Sorry for the delay…
Through this blog and the JSHOPPERS site we asked for name suggestions.
Thank you everyone for suggesting so many cute names!
We all found it so difficult to choose one but eventually we reached our decision!

Her name is: Koharu (小晴)

This same name was suggested by someone in Japanese version of this blog.
The following reasons are why Koharu was chosen amongst all the names:
The way she runs around so energetically reminded us of the shining sun on a fine day! “Fine” in Japanese is said “hare” (晴れ).
We want her to grow up healthily and be strong like the sun!
Koharu is surprisingly energetic and likes to run around the office!
At the end of June she finished all her vaccines, so she could then play around with Kotaro and Koume.
There is so much going here!

Watching the 3 dogs playing together is so compelling.
The run from corner to corner of the office, and sometimes Koharu stops to do a submission pose.

Yes, she soon comes round and starts to play with Kotaro and Koume again, like in the above photo

As Koharu has finished her vaccines, she was also able to go for her first walk outside!
Koharu is so energetic around the office, so we thought it would be the same whilst going out on a walk, but…
Either she was just not used to it, or she was really frightened. She couldn’t have acted any differently.

However, she seemed intrigued whilst nervously discovering new sights and smells.
Here, the 3 friends seem to be enjoying their walk together.

Koharu is eating a lot everyday and growing quickly.
We will continue to bring you the everyday happenings and development of Kotaro, Koume and Koharu through this blog!
